Exercise Rehabilitation for Stroke Survivors
& other Neurological Conditions

I’m Carol Quirk, a physical instructor and therapist.  I am specifically trained to guide Stroke Survivors and those with other neurological conditions (such as Parkinson’s and MS) through their recovery and rehabilitation, and thereby help nurture and support an individual to find self-confidence and self-assurance.

This includes coping strategies, strength and flexibility, balance and mobility and above all activities of daily living.  Massage can be provided as a means to the above and particularly useful for easing sore or tired muscles.

Sports & Remedial Massage

Sports and Remedial Massage can be used as a stand-alone therapy for those suffering from injury or chronic pain, bringing relief and healing to the physical body, specifically sporting injuries; pain brought about by tension or repetitive movement; chronic/continuing conditions.

Carol is a member of ‘Healing Hands Network’, a charity dedicated to the relief of suffering caused by war and disaster.  She has worked for this charity for several years, using massage to bring relief to those suffering Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) after the war in Sarajevo.  She has also delivered massage therapy to UK veterans suffering from PTSD in this country.
